The power of the door/window sensor

The door/window sensor consists of two parts: a small magnet and the sensor itself. When the magnet is near the sensor, it is considered closed. If the magnet is moved away, it is considered open.

You can easily configure the interpretation of OK and NOT OK for your application in the HomeOK app. For example, if a window has to be permanently open, you can specify in the sensor settings that the status is displayed as OK when the window is open and displayed as NOT OK when the window is closed.

This is how the sensor works in detail

If a monitored object is opened or closed, the sensor immediately sends a notification to your smartphone. In addition, as a first deterrent, the monitoring system, in combination with a loudspeaker, can play an individual voice message.

The connection and individual configuration of the door/window sensor take place via the HomeOK app for iOS and Android.
