Basic is available in four speed tiers: Silver at 250 Mbps, Gold at 500 Mbps, Platinum at 750 Mbps, and Diamond at 1 Gbps. All Basic plans use non-symmetrical fibre, meaning download speeds are higher than upload speeds.
Is Lazer Basic internet unlimited?
Yes. Basic plans include unlimited data, so there is no monthly data allowance to monitor.
What is the difference between Basic and Premium?
Basic uses non-symmetrical speeds and is designed for everyday home internet use. Premium offers symmetrical connectivity, where upload and download speeds are equal, making it better suited to upload-intensive activities.
What’s the difference between Basic and Smart?
Basic is an internet-only service. Smart combines Lazer internet with TV and, depending on the package, additional connectivity features.
Is installation included?
Professional installation is available with Basic plans. Free installation is available with a 24-month contract, subject to coverage and a site survey. Different terms may apply to shorter contract periods.
Can I upgrade my Basic plan later?
Yes. If your needs change, contact our team to discuss moving to another Basic speed tier or a different Lazer service. Any applicable contract terms will be confirmed before the change.
